Talk infront of my sisters friends and hold a class,i dont like to "do presentations =)3-what i could do differntly-it really hard to tell at this point becasue i am just starting out. Possibly see more oppertunities that i can talk about mary kay (there have been a few times)
ReplyDeleteThis is from Jessica Laber-woodland consultant and Abby Munoz team
(1) Today I am working with my 3rd team member to become active/qualified to get me into Red Jacket.
ReplyDelete(2) Today I am going to pass my business card out to 5 people and get names to further my business, which has been extremely difficult to step outside the friend/family box.
(3) What I could do differently is staying focused on one project at a time and not try to do everything all at once.
This is Tammy Civello, Lisa Olivares Unit
1 - I have contacted 5 new people about booking a skin care clinic with me to help in my training as well as sales.
ReplyDelete2 - I contacted friends that I know are looking for work or additional income to join me for Lily's Seminar.
3 - Gotten more sleep! I was on such a high from last night's great seminar that I couldn't get my brain to shut off! More sleep = more focused productivity...I think?
Jessica- Congratulations on your first class! That is a milestone in your business that you will remember forever!
ReplyDeleteTammy- Yes, one project at a time is the way to go! Helps me procrastinate less doing it that way!
Christa- I agree on the sleep part! When I'm excited my brain has a hard time shutting off too! I guess it's better than being too stressed to sleep right? :-)
1)Today I completed my 3 Things that I needed to get done in my MK business
ReplyDelete2)One thing I did today was talk to someone I didn't even know about MK.
3)I should have gotten more sleep after the AMAZING Pacesetters session last night... Couldn't turn off the thinking-cap. Also, I didn't do my morning routine which threw me off my game a bit.
1) Today I followed up with a website lead and sold $91. I also did a few follow ups and booked a class and sold a miracle set with another.
ReplyDelete2) Getting on the phone to book was out of my comfort zone but it is getting easier each time I get myself out of my own way and do it.
3) I should have started earlier in the day instead of procrastinating to get my "stuff" done.
1. I called 3 people to see if they could have a party. Tomorrow they will give me the dates!
ReplyDelete2. I am not very comfortable calling people and asking them to have parties but I finally made the phone calls today
3. I could of tried to set up more than just 3 parties...I still have 2 others that said they would have parties. The day is still young:)
This is Tailor Huckabay, Lezlie Langs group
1) I revamped my facebook and made it a networking/business opportunity, while still "inviting" to long-lost friends & family and got instant results...then followed up!
ReplyDelete2)I shared what that I was doing MK with someone on my "chicken list"
3)I should have conducted or scheduled a sharing appt with her...she's so sharp & polished!
Kristina Bauer, Wendy Blake-Cutler unit
1. I showed up! I made follow up calls.
ReplyDelete2. I warm chattered and got her info.
3. I could have stayed in my office making booking calls instead of laying in the pool and going to dinner with Joe. But I only get to see him a few hours a week, so it was temporarily worth it! :-)
Thank you Lia for a great 1st pacesetters class last night, I got some valuable information! Looking forward to the results!
Lisa Feuerborn, Lia Carta's unit
Victoria- We're all going to give each other grace for lack of sleep from last night! I think we were all excited!! :-)
ReplyDeleteSue- WOW! Look at all of your income producing activities TODAY! Doesn't it feel great? You accomplished so much today! GREAT JOB!
Tailor- to help with feeling more comfortable booking parties instead of like you are imposing on people, keep your focus on what they are going to get out of the party. It truly can be just as "profitable" for her as it is for you! Be very careful of this form of self talk because it can sabatoge your business! It seems like you are working hard to overcome it- 3 parties booked! You go girl! I've noticed the more I did the things I didnt like doing, the more I began to like them because I saw results!
Kristina- It's not too late! Please do not procrastinate and call that woman TOMORROW and book a sharing appointment! What if she is the next National sales director? Every second you spend procrastinating is a second she looses out of thr future that MK might be for her! I'm proud of you for "attacking" that chicken list! You'll have sharp team members and great parties by doing that! :-)
Lisa- You are welcome! Did you get your tan on? Im actually really glad this happened. Some times when other things come up that are important we CAN re-negotiate NOT procrastinate. So in Lisa's case, she would say, "I'm choosing to not book today and hang out by the pool, so tomorrow from 10am-12pm i will book instead of watching 90210 reruns. :-)". Re-negotiate and be specific about when it's getting done.
1. Today I booked a party for next Saturday with a friend of mine from high school that I found on Facebook (thank you again FB).
ReplyDelete2. Coached my hostess (still new to this whole thing) :)
3. I could have reached out to a couple more FB friends regarding parties instead of stopping at one.
This is Amanda Maples-Imm, Lia's unit
Okay I am more computer challenged than I thought!! Took me forever to figure this thing out- procrastination right?? anyway...
ReplyDelete1. Booked a party- woo hoo!
2. Picked up the phone and called complete strangers to get bookings
3. Started working a lot earlier in the day
This is Katrina Kizer- Sharon Buck unit
Accountability:
ReplyDelete1. Today I had a $700+ Party with a Purpose. We had a great time and I have 8 potential recruits. They are all fantastic and are super excited to help Lily celebrate her accomplishments.
2. At my class today I shared my goals for the rest of the year with everyone. I tend to share my goals with my family but I find it difficult to share them with my clients as I feel that it seems like I am pressuring them to support me. What I found out was that it actually made them more excited about what we were doing and they wanted to know more. I ended up sharing most of our marketing plan with them because my goals made them think about what they are doing.
3.I could have made booking calls or followed up with clients but I chose to spend time with my family. We have had a tough week and it was important to me. I know that I can still accomplish my weekly goals even if I don't complete each task every day. Everyday has something that can be done to be more productive. It is about making choices, standing behind them and knowing when not to compromise. This is now my #1 task for tomorrow!
saturday:
ReplyDelete1. $100 day! on-the-go with customer = reorder and showed her new holiday items! Hubby took samples to barber shop appt = new customer!
2. asking customers if "there is any reason why they can't buy at least 2 of their christmas gifts with me this year?"
3. should've tried to figure this out yesterday... I guess I'm more computer illiterate than I ever thought!
1. I booked my first party!
ReplyDelete2. I sent out an email to friends and family
offering 20% off product placed on my website before monday evening.
3. I should have gone out window shopping and wore my MK pin and try to meet people!
1. I sold $150 in product to my mom.
ReplyDelete2. I made calls and booked 2 parties.
3. To be more productive towards my goal, I could continue to make phone calls.
Jessica =)
Lisa Feuerborn ~ Lia Carta Unit
ReplyDeleteI chose not to work my business today, but I'll be in full force tomorrow!!!
1. Today I talked some more to a prospective team member. She is a bit closer to making a decision.
ReplyDelete2. Today I talked to a complete stranger about my business. This is a first for me and I feel great that I was able to step outside of my comfort zone.
3. I think that I could have been a bit more procative with warm chatter while at my daughter's softball game.
1. I completed all 3 things I needed to do for my MK business.
ReplyDelete2. I got on the phone and booked appointments
3. Although I was super busy and had a pretty chaotic day, I could have planned my day with a little more structure.
Not a work day according to #1!
ReplyDelete1)I mapped out my new schedule, having already decided to take Sundays off. I just almost wrote "to try to take Sundays off!" Man, that's really hard..I think we all love it so much, we really do something MK every day!
2)I did my BEST to involve my husband in my schedule making and shared my intentions with my family. I've always been so reserved about this...still figuring that out:-)
3)Nothing...(supposed to be)non-MK day! SO HARD!
sorry..Kristina Bauer, Wendy Blake-Cutler unit
ReplyDelete1. Thought a lot about my intentions today. One intention in my business was to not have to work Sunday's so I didn't. My old job wouldn't allow us to take certain days off, how wonderful to be able to!!!
ReplyDelete2. It was hard for me to not think of what I need to get done but I had a wonderful day with hubby & kids.
3. I could have thought less about what I'm going to do tomorrow, but I feel excited to work my business first thing tomorrow!
I took today off from my business to celebrate my 29th birthday and a family member's 99th birthday! Nice job everyone!
ReplyDeleteKelly Shaw, Lia Carta Unit
1. Had a fabulous skin care party today with sales of $421 & 3 bookings.
ReplyDelete2.I used the closet close & the party bag booking. I loved it because it made booking effortless.
3.I should have invited & coached more guest, since I was the hostess of my class.
Over all... today was a good day!!!
1. Booked two more parties for this month!!!
ReplyDelete2. Tracked down an online client who appeared to be avoiding me...I would've normally just let it go.
3. I could've done follow ups, but I'm putting it off until tomorrow (but for good reason...Sundays are my days off!)
Amanda Maples-Imm, Lia Carta's unit
Sorry it took me so long to actually blog, I couldn't figure out how to.
ReplyDelete1. Today I called all the people on my list of leads that I hadn't heard back from yet.
2. Doing that was definitly outside my comfort zone, I feel like I'm pestering rather than being persistent, when in fact I have something wonderfull to share.
3. I could have talked to the moms at a birthday party I took my daughter to today, I left kicking myself in the but, will not do that again.
1. Today I passed out flyers with some specials deals and information that i created to 150 people
ReplyDelete2. Passing out the flyers was out of my comfort zone I have not held a party with someone that I do not know yet
3. I could have called the customers on my list that I need to ask if they are ready to re-order or if they are able to purchase any more itmes on their wish lists
This is Tailor Huckabay, Lizlie Langs Group
Happy birthday Kelly!
ReplyDelete1. I sold some product- yeah! Made some booking calls
ReplyDelete2. Sent an email to everyone announcing a 20% off sale for orders placed by Tuesday
3. Worked MK a lot more- but I chose to spend the majority of my day with my family...today was a very good day!
1. Made 10 phone calls
ReplyDelete2. Tried warm chatter with one person -- tried to give her business card before I found out she sells Avon.
3. I could have tried warm chatter with more people. I am not very comfortable talking to people I don't know. Will continue to work on this.
Additional note: I took yesterday off. It took me a long time to figure out how to get to this site tonight. Proud of myself for finally figuring it out!
Hannelore Evans
today is monday... i was determined find a way to get on the blog. and i did. this is Anita DelReal from Lori Swilley's unit.
ReplyDelete1. Today I have called future host leads to book into my first two weeks of october. i am also focusing on calling to get booking for this upcoming saturday.. my Power PINK Blitz day.
2. I got on the phone today and actually spoke with a few executives of companies in roseville. i was very nervous, the outcome was "no's" ... but that will not keep me froming calling more. the more NO'S you get you get closer to getting a YES. That was out of my comfort zone but I did it.
3. What i would of have done differently, was when calling the executives.. i would of had a "script" to use instead of not being prepared. that is definitely something i will have next time. i would probably get better results. yes.
i am excited for pacesetters and reaching the highest points possible..... lol. no but really i want to be one of the top 3 pacesetters... I got my eye on the #1
1. I provided great customer service today by delievering products I sold yesterday at a birthday party. I believe that providing next day service is a plus for customers and it shows accountability.
ReplyDelete2. To be quite honest I haven't had to force my self to do anything outside of my comfort zone. I think by doing a bit of warm chatter yesterday actually helped me.
3. I think I could have picked up the phone today but again, I am being honest with myself and with you...."I wasn't feeling it."
Oh on a side note I did get my Star consultant prize today...a $40 MKConnections voucher and I've already spent it. :) That made me happy.
ReplyDeleteAccountability:
ReplyDelete1) Today I followed up with clients today and got 3 re-orders.
2) Until now I have not been so good at following up with customers 2 months after their purchase. I didn't want to seem pushy and figured I would wait for them to call me when they needed something. After the success it gave me today I need to make sure I continue to do it.
3) I could have made more phone calls today to be more productive.
Kelly Shaw, Lia Carta Unit
Hey guys- Emily here. I have posted from Saturday on the link below the last page- I think I got mixed up.
ReplyDeleteSunday- (1) I held a great class this night and book a share. (2) Going outside my comfort zone when I tried to overcome objections during the class. (3) I wish I would of finished working on a sale calender today.
Monday- (1) I held a sharing apt. (2) I didn't do anything out of my comfort zone today :(. (3) I should have booked more classes today. I had a lazy day...
1. I went to physical therapy today, and instead of looking at it as a time waster, I brought books and samlples in with me and started talking about parties, when I go back on Friday my goal is to book at least one party from the girls there. I also planned my week
ReplyDelete2. Talking to the girls in physical therapy was way outside my comfort zone, I always think of myself as a patient without being on the same level to offer them anything.
3. I could have talked to the mothers at soccer practice, I seem to have a hard time talking to the mothers I'm around about Mary Kay, and I've met so many of them that I just need to get over it and do it now.
1. Helped a customer with her online purchse.
ReplyDelete2. I met someone new.
3. I could have made some calls on my lunch break today.
1) Today I encouraged an inactive team member to strive to place a minimum order by the end of the month before she loses her team members. I gave her a few new look books & my new products for the day to take to her J.O.B...she's $6 away!
ReplyDelete2)Got started on my PCP calls...follow up HAS BEEN a hang up of mine too!
3) I could have been more prepared when naptime came & gotten more calls/sales/bookings!
Kristina Bauer, Wendy Blake-Cutler unit
ReplyDelete1. I worked on my voucher and set dates for completion. Other than that I did not work on my business much. Monday's are the worst day for me!
ReplyDelete2. I did not work outside of my comfort zone today.
3. I could've made some calls on my lunch or talked to the ladies in my class about my goals and asked if they would be willing to help.
1. Tonight I went to the weekly meeting although I really wanted to hang out with my family, but I knew going would give me the boost I need to make some stuff happen for my business.
ReplyDelete2. I didn't do anything out of my comfort zone...I'm noticing every day that my discomfort zone is getting smaller:)
3. I could've made a few calls to find the numbers of those I couldn't find...tomorrow's the day though!
Amanda Maples-Imm, Lia's unit
1. Today I didn't do much but I sold some more product- not quite to my $300 goal yet but getting there- I have a few more hours left- right??
ReplyDelete2. I spoke to a woman that I have been intimidated by for so long regarding sharing the MK opportunity with her
3. Made phone calls, followed up with some customers
1. I got 3 parties on my date book with guest lists. Got the guest list for a party I had already booked, delivered a replacement order and received one new order.
ReplyDelete2. I made a phone call in the middle of the day while kids were occupied.
3. I could have made one more phone call I had planned on but completely spaced in the midst of a chaotic evening
1. Today I spent the day working for the other company that I work for, not a lot of MK today but Wednesday will be a better day.
ReplyDelete2. I brought someone with me to my MK meeting which I have not done yet, she is not 18 yet but will be by the end of this year I am hoping to sign her up!!
3. I could have tried calling back all the people that I did not get ahold of today...I am having such a hard time getting people on the phone!
This is Tailor Huckabay, Lizlie Lang's Group
Hi Lia! Are you seeing the posts under the Pacesetters flyer?
ReplyDeleteLisa Feuerborn
1. Went to my unit meeting & got ideas for the holiday selling season.
ReplyDelete2. I didn't do anything outside my comfort zone today. But I will be on the phone tomorrow tto book up October.
3. I could have brought guest to my unit meeting & worked Smarter!!
1. I was able to help get one of my team members active. It was her first order, and she hasn't been active since after she joined, so it was very exciting for both of us.
ReplyDelete2. Making calls to my pcp customers is outside my comfort zone, I feel like I'm bugging them if they don't call, and I seriously need to get out of my head, so I made a couple and got an order.
3. I could've started eariler and made all the calls to all of my customers
1. Whew, today I feel like I'm coming down off the momentum that started Friday. I delivered a few orders, but messed them up. Tried to return 2 calls and followed up with one customer.
ReplyDelete2. Nothing really outside my comfort zone on a normal day, but today everything felt that way.
3. Should have slowed down delivering my orders (out of the area) Now I have to make another long trip to re-do everything I did.
1. I pre-profiled my class for tommorrow, and am wanting to get bookings from it, so I also reviewed bookings from bookings. I went to my meeting tonight.
ReplyDelete2. I finally talked to the person in charge of advertising on the base which I have been putting off for quite some time, and I can't explain why this was out of my comfort zone, but it totally was.
3. Made more phone calls to people I have met and have shown interest in either the products or the business, my chicken list, I guess is what it's called
1. I spent the morning studying the close for my class at two, and getting everything ready, and I got to my class 15 min early to set up, and her friends were running late, I told her that's fine, cause I really wanted to talk to her about the opprtunity and had been wanting to since I met her, she signed her agreement before I left, her friends never showed up, but since I had all my stuff for my class, and she didn't know very much about the products, we did a class, jus the two of us, and went over a whole bunch of the products, it turned out great.
ReplyDelete2. It was way outside my comfort zone to talk one on one and explain the business, Wendy had emailed us all a recruiting notebook to print out, and it really helped, so now I feel like I could be ready to do it anytime now, I feel fantastic. And as aoon as she becomes active, I'll be in my red jacket.
3. I'm not sure I could've done much more, I picked up my kids after the class/recruiting. Fed them dinner and got on the booking phone call which was fantastic. All in all, it was a full day with success and knowledge and movement forward in my business
My October goal is to become a red jacket, get my third team member active, get at least three classes a week, consistently by the end of the month. Refine my class skills, including the opening and closing of the class that was shared with us at the class. I will be able to be confident enough to step farther out of my comfort zone, and do it everyday without being challenged to in pacesetters. I also want by the end of the month at least three hundred a week in sales, consistently. And have my two checking accounts opened, and my cash flow in the right direction, right account, Also in October I intend to straighten out my receipts and sales slips the way we were shown.
ReplyDeleteI just watched the video, and it was really great. He inspires, you don't fail unless when you fall you don't get back up again, just don't quit, there's always a way. He was able to turn his disadvantage to an advantage, and really inspire people to keep going no matter what happens, just don't quit, or stay down. To watch him get back up physically, also gives you an emotional connection to the difficulties we face in life, just simply get back up and really the only way you fail is by staying down and not getting up
ReplyDelete
