  1. I have learned a lot about myself and commitement these last three weeks. I knew I was committed prior to pacesetters but I have rededicated myself to my business.

I really like the VISUAL aspect of the class. I think it has been a great asset to the learning. I would definitely continue to use this.

  2. Opps I forgot to write about Lily's Debut.

I thought it was amazing. Lily is such an inspiration to us all. I loved the comedy and Lesley's talk was so inspirational as well as Lily's. My favorite part of the evening was listening to Mike and Cody do the Husband Oath! The Oath is great but the two of them were even better! Thanks for the laughs!

  3. With pacesetter's I have so much more knowledge about how to run my business. Lesilie was right when she said pacesetters was personal growth on steriods. I have learned so much about myself. Between pacesetter's and Lily's debut I feel like my excitment has turned into drive. I'm ready to be sucessful.

  4. Like Tara I too have learned about commitment. Also accountibility. I did attend other pacesetter classes, but I never had the "guts" to follow through with it. I was scared and I guess not ready to take on the challenges. Boy I am seriously kicking myself in my butt now!!!! YOU GET RESULTS!! I LOVED LOVED LOVED the visual aspect of it, the blogging and the Money Management. That was HUGE!!! I think Lesley needs to be a trainer in ALL our pacesetter classes.

As for Lily's Debut.....AMAZING!! I have never attended a director debut and I am never going to miss one again. Great job and I love your Husband Oat tradition. I was sorry my own hubby missed it. I told him he HAS to go to the next one. When I told him about the night he was honestly sorry he did not make it. That is a first for him.

  5. I think what has helped me the most is being consintent with the IBA's and tracking them. I am so thankful for the Money Management information, GREAT! As for future Pacesetter training the visual is the best for me. It really helps to see as well hear.

Lily's Debut....FUN FUN FUN!! I love the enegery level in the room. I love how you even made the serious part fun too.

  6. The money management, accountability, visual aspects, awesome trainers, the voucher challenges have been great training for me.

I'm sorry I missed out on Lilly's debut. Sounds like it was a blast. However, I did sign my first team member, so all was not lost.

  7. I am loving the Pacesetters course. I feel like it was exactly the jumpstart back into business that I needed after little hiatus. It has challenged me in ways that have stretched me and taken me out of my comfort zone. I really can't think of a way it can be better at this point. It's been great.

As for Lily's debut, my guest got the flu but I am still glad that I went and got to be a part of such a special night. I couldn't help but think about what my own debut will be like! I got a new vision and excitement for what lies ahead of me. I pictured myself standing up in that gorgeous blue suit taking my own oath and got super excited! What a fun night too! Glad I was a part of it!

  8. I have really enjoyed the pacesetters training. I have definitely found that I can squeeze more time out of my day. I love the tools for taking control of the class, money management and special pricing placemat table close. I didn't get my voucher in the mail yesterday because I was too busy with IPAs. I can see why weekly meetings are so important. It is really motivating to get new ideas to try out.

I think the training has been great. There were a few times I felt I didn't catch everything because it was a little rushed. I guess that probably means it wasn't so important.

I should have been at Lily's debut.

  9. I found the vouchers to be most important. I attend as many weekly meetings as my schedule allows. I have a JOB Tuesday, Wednesday,Thursday and have used that as an excuse for my making phone calls and scheduling appointments. No more -- I will be accountable to MYSELF. My director is in Southern California and I have not been able to attend one of her meetings since the two years I have been in Mary Kay. I love her very much and admire her accomplishments. She is a great coach. However, I have used the excuse of being an Adoptee at unit meetings that I don't need to follow the program. Well, no more of that! I am on track now and will stay focused toward Directorship! Thank you Lia for the inspiratio and Lesley for the easy money management and Lily for being SOOOO YOUNG AND SOOOO Focused. I loved the Husband's Oath last night - glad to see the joyful support!!!

  10. I got sooooo much out of this pacesetters. I learned how to make sure I receive a guest, I used this tactic and I am getting more bookings to hold - YEAH! I think the travel roll-up bag is an awesome idea and I plan to implement it. I think that the opening Leslie uses for her classes is an awesome idea and I believe that it will make my classes go much better. I learned that I really need to memorize the 8 point close and the opening for the classes. Leslie's ideas on how to manage money are great, I just need to get a little better handle on exactly how it works.

I thought this pacesetters was awesome and I cannot think of anything I would change.

I went to Lily's debut and I thought it was great. Lily's husband was a riot. I think I am beginning to see myself in the director position.

  11. Pacesetters has given me the little push that I've been needing. Things always seem to happen at the perfect time for me, and this is another prime example. I wish I wouldn't have missed Leslie's class, because I'm sure I would have taken a lot away from it, but the material that was posted helped. (shame on me)
I have nothing to add for changes... I think it's been done very well!

Lily's debut was awesome!!! I'm SO happy that I went, not only to celebrate Lily's success, but because it renewed my faith in the company, the women I'm surrounding myself with, and in myself and my goals. Thank you ladies! If I could have re-signed, I would have last night!

  12. What I took from Pacesetters is how to be accountable for your business. I've been in this business for 14 years (only working it the last 5) I have been in a Red Jacket for all 5!! I do very well, but have also become very comfortable. I wanted a re-boot, I wanted to feel passionate about my business again....and Pacesetters did just that. The Challenges were awesome and although I didn't always earn all the points, I did mostly....and you should see my datebook filled with appointments AND sharing appointments as well!! I am very excited, you all were wonderful. I have no suggestions that would make it better.
Lily's Debut was awesome, and even better I recruited 2 out of 3 guests!!! The momentum is going now. Thank you for your Go-Give Spirit!!

  13. Pacesetters was great and what I took away from it is that I was accountable to me and if I didn't make the goal, to just try it again. I loved the challenges and really enjoyed the visuals. I learn something different both from listening, taking notes and watching. I have learned not to be afraid to pick up the phone and talk!!! I don't think I have anything to add to make it better. The energy, the teachers and training were right on.
Lily's Debut was fantabulous. The stories were great and the husbands were entertaining, filled with awesomness and I loved how supportive they both were.

  14. I have gotten so much out of pacesetters. I've learned more booking stragies, better ways to manage my money. The biggest part that i will take with me though, it centers around the actual classes, how to open and close, how to actually get the individual consultations. When I do get more classes booked I believe that what I've leanrned from pacesetters will defitly make me more successfull in my classes, which has been my bigest problem. I can pre-pofile, coach and now book better, but most importantly my classes will run better and be more successfull than they have been. I've learned so much, and am very thankfull the class was held, and that I've pushed myself more everday. I may not have the highest points, but my personal growth will be my rewaard. And I will see it through my customers, old and new, and be able to help more people than I believed I could personally do. Once you start stepping out of your comfort zone, you feel more able to do it everyday. I wouldn't change a thing in the program, I know I'm being repedative, but I honestly can't say enough good things about the program and the knowledge I've gained through it

  15. (Sharon Turley) This pacesetters was even more challenging and inspiring than the last one. I've really had to work to keep up with the vouchers.I've gotten back in the groove of contacting my customers again! And talking to people too. I love the ideas to post on facebook, and using available media. And, the money management is something I needed. Like Lesley, too much messing with paperwork boggles my mind, I love the simple way she put everything. I went home that night and told my hubby that I was opening another account and filtering my MK money through it. I will be writing the family account a paycheck every month, no longer will I embezel from my business. He is totally behind me on this! Thank you so much Lia and Lesley!!
I also like reading what everyone else has learned. It re enforces what I learn!

  16. Wow, where do I start... So many great and helpful ideas. I really benefited from the session on money management and the simple opening. I really am thankful for the encouragement the first session gave for getting out and making calls, placing orders etc. It has been a jump start for me.

  17. So... I know that I posted on here last night... not sure what happened to it so I will post again.... I think that what helped me the most was the blog and being able to hear from others as to how they go about things in the daily life of their business. Also, being able to hear differing views and approaches from two top directors. It is refreshing to hear that there is no right or wrong.. just different approaches and that what ever works for me is what I should do.

Lily's debut was AMAZING... as is she. I love her fire. It is also inspiring to hear from all the directors and where they have come from and what they have accomplished. I love being surrounded by successful motivate women!

  18. (Tracy Sanchez) POSTING MY ANSWER FOR QUESTION 3: I feel like I am on a roll and that things are just going to keep rolling for me. I don't feel like any of this is done and will continue to challenge myself as if I was working on a Pacesetters deadline. I love how this class as motivated me to get out of my comfort zone and I am seeing the benefits of doing that. So, I will continue on and can't wait to reach my goals and make some new ones!

  19. Question 3.
The tools I've learned from this pacesetters are so valuable to me, I will be using everything I possibly can from pacesetters in my business. I have printed out and downloaded all the documents to my laptop. I will be using the scripts often enough to have them memorized. And I am opening a second account with my bank so that I can utilize the effective way to manage my money. It's not just motivational, but so very valuable to my business. What I've learned has helped me get over some tough hurdles, in my classes, in my booking, in my money management. There is absolutely no way I would let that kind of knowledge fall to the wayside. My goals will be reached and I am going to climb as high as possible with setting actual goals for myself, not just saying them, but really going after them and accomplishing them

  20. Question 3....
I think by being "challenged" to actually work with the tools that were given to us was definetly a different experience, rather than just hearing a motivational speaker, taking notes and never putting them to use. By putting the things I learned to use I experienced a level of confidence I never had. I'm recruiting, my datebook is filled, the momentum is rolling.....there is no stopping me!!! See ya at the TOP!! :)

  21. There tools were simple and I actually did some of them. I am going to continue using all the challenges every week to keep the momentum going. I found that I gained even more confidence to step out of my little box and into something bigger. Before I always had the desire and now I can actually see it happening and I have all the control!!!

  22. Question 3:
I will be implementing the skin care class opening, the class agenda, and the hostess program that Lesley taught us at my two classes on Saturday. I will also be offering the travel roll up bag that Lia shared with us to my guests at my classes. I spent some time today memorizing the skin care class opening and 8 point close. I am extremely nervous about implementing the opening but I believe that it will help make my classes go much smoother and I think that my guests will be more excited about the class and the 2nd appointment. Also, I will implement Lesley's ideas for money management, once I get a better hold on some of the concepts.

Pacesetters got me in the place that I needed to be, so I will be implementing EVERY single thing that I learned or got a re-fresher on. I'm going to continuously work full circle and with that, I'll be successful!

  24. I am going to keep the pace, and use the tools I have been given in this training to move my business forward. I will keep working on the IPA's and tracking everything.I am a master pacesetter!

    ReplyDelete
  25. I will continue with the plan I have put together during pacesetters. I have the dates on my calender for parties I have booked. I am coaching them to hold, and working full circle to keep my business going! This class has given my business the boost I needed to be off and running.
The only thing I might change, is to make this class last 21 days since they say it takes 21 days to form a new habit!!!

  26. what i have learned from the pacesetter course is Consistancy, Drive and Ambition to WANT MORE. With each of the vouchers we have been given, I plan to use them weekly until I get to where I want to be in this business. I will hold myself accountable to the dates I have set for accomplishing my goals. Its been awesome.

  27. I plan to implement what I have learned by being consistant and by not wasting time on non-income producing activities. I think I have finally found the balance of Mary Kay in my life and plan to be consistant, honor the commitments I make and not compromise the balance I have scheduled into my weekly plan.
